to the item that you want to have that image. these instructions are only for audio items and collection pages. it will not work for movies or texts items.

On the contrary, I have seen other Archive users change their movie's cover file days after the video was initially uploaded. Please look into this further.

oh, ok. you're talking about the tile image that appears in search results. yes, assigning "Item Image" to an image file uploaded to the item should do that. the thumb on the player itself will not change though.
