first off: thank you for the great scans of this book.
https://archive.org/details/cu31924021573468/mode/2up
As I noticed, there is some missing content, such as the photography of the Rajah at the beginning of the book, Mrs. Brooke's dedication to Datu Isa, the illustration facing page 298 and both pages 156 and 157.
I am at the moment trying to ask owners of the originally 1913 published book if they could help me out by sending me a snapshot of those pages for a personal project dealing with compiling a full copy for a very interested family member to read.
I was wondering, wether my effort of restoring some missing content could maybe be of help and could maybe add to the actual project of having a full copy in the open library?
And out of curiosity, is it known what circumstances led to the missing content of the current digital version? Was the original book damaged?
- Sebastian

we would not have access to that original. unfortunately it is all too common that pages are missing in books in libraries.
