The CBS RADIO MYSTERY THEATER series of radio dramas was created by Himan Brown and hosted by E.G. Marshall for all but the final year of its 1974 through 1982 run. These are recordings from WBBM, the CBS affiliate for Chicago, Illinois. In most cases, they contain the original news broadcasts and commercials of the era. Audio quality and length vary.

The shows presented here are digitized from the home recorded tapes of dedicated Bob and Ray fans. Some were produced by a person rushing to the radio, pushing the record button and holding a mike near the speaker. I noticed that other internet offerings of this program had variable volume between and within shows, so I volume-normalized these files (with Audition) for consistent volume throughout each show, with all the shows the same.
