Italian re-edition of the Encyclopédie méthodique, published in Paris by Panckoucke and in Liège by Plomteux. The 6 vols. of Histoire appeared 1784-1804. Much of the work is said to have been written by the editor Gaillard. See G.B. Watts, "The Encyclopédie méthodique" (PMLA, v. 73, no. 4, p. 364)
