"First Harper Collins hardcover edition published in 1993" -- verso
An Andalusian shepherd boy named Santiago travels from his homeland in Spain to the Egyptian desert in search of a treasure buried in the Pyramids. Along the way he meets a Gypsy woman, a man who calls himself king, and an alchemist, all of whom point Santiago in the direction of his quest. Well!! I am a noob at reading, I've tried reading many books but couldn't make it till end , but this book is really a work of art I couldn't stop once I started , like the way the story starts and the way it proceeds and it ends is really fantastic. Whoever reading this review I would like to give an advice please don't read this book or any book on people's advice coz everyone is different and have variable choices the genre of book that is suitable for your friend might not be suitable for you all you need is to figure it out what are your preferences and your taste .Thankyou.
